Overview

Buyer – Roofing & Cladding Systems role involves sourcing, planning, and executing high‑quality roofing and cladding projects, supporting project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure roofing and cladding systems for construction projects up to £7m.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate material orders, plant hire, and delivery, including crane lifts as required.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Liaise with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and effective communication between teams.
• Manage diary and maintain high levels of organisation to support project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of buyer experience within the construction/building industry OR sales experience in the roofing & cladding sector.
• Familiarity with roofing systems, cladding, or facades.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong IT literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Logical thinker with a strong numerical background and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage diary effectively.
