Buyer – Nottinghamshire

Chase & Holland have today been engaged by an exceptional Nottinghamshire based business, and are excited to be partnering the business to recruit a Buyer into the growing and developing team. This role is coming about owing to growth and an increase in R&D leading to some exciting plans for the future. As the Buyer, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers in the UK and overseas to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Procurement: Source and purchase engineering materials, components, and services in line with company policies.
• Negotiation: Negotiate terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure supply chain efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure all purchased materials and components meet the required specifications and standards.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Qualifications
