Job summary

A leading Infrastructure contractor seeks an experienced Buyer to join their team, supporting major substation projects across Scotland. This role involves managing high value contracts and procurement operations within a strong regional team responsible for impactful framework projects valued at £4 billion over the next 6-10 years.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years' strategy procurement experience.
• Strong civils materials procurement experience preferred.
• Open to strategic buyers from Oil & Gas or EPC contractors.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 3+ year’s strategy procurement experience for any main construction or Infrastructure contractor

Strong negotiation, supplier management and communication skills

Ideally you will have strong civils materials procurement experience, but should they struggle to identify the above candidate profile, they would be open to meeting strategic buyers from Oil & Gas, EPC contractors or the subcontractor supply chain
