About the Company

Force Recruitment are partenered with a well-established multi-utility contractor operating across major EHV and HV cabling projects nationwide. They are looking to appoint a skilled Buyer to support procurement activities on a range of technically demanding power infrastructure schemes.

Role Overview

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to support ongoing EHV / HV cabling projects. You’ll work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement aligned with project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Procuring materials, equipment, and services for EHV / HV cabling projects
• Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors
• Managing purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supply chain performance
• Building strong supplier relationships and identifying new supply partners
• Ensuring compliance with procurement processes and industry standards
