A forward-focused social housing provider in the UK seeks a Buyer to manage procurement and contract negotiations. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in a hybrid working environment. In our Buyer role you’ll be sourcing and procuring goods and services that deliver the best value, ensuring quality, cost‑efficiency and timely delivery. You’ll work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders and the procurement team to put in place contracts that support operational needs and strategic procurement objectives.
Location: Hybrid, minimum of 1 day per week in our Peterborough or Boston office with some travel as and when required.
Salary: Up to £42,200 per year
Contract: Fixed‑Term 12 Month Contract covering maternity leave
Your week: 36.25 hours per week (9am‑5.15pm Monday to Friday with 1‑hour lunch)
