Job summary

A leading Aerospace & Defence organisation is seeking a Buyer to join their procurement team in Bath. Key responsibilities include issuing RFQs, negotiating quotations, managing POs, and conducting supplier performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and procurement experience, preferably in Aerospace/Engineering. The position offers hybrid working and a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in Aerospace/Engineering.
• Confident working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs and manage supplier responses
• Review and negotiate quotations
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
• Conduct supplier performance reviews
• Manage invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Work closely with Operations, CS&S, Finance and other internal teams
• Support purchasing KPIs and operational performance targets
• Verify accuracy of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and POs

• Experience in procurement or supply chain (Aerospace/Engineering desirable)

Hours: 37 per week. Working Pattern: Hybrid.
