Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years purchasing experience within a fast-paced procurement department.
  • Excellent IT skills and experience of purchase ordering systems as well as all Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and buying materials from a range of suppliers ensuring best price and lead times are agreed.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with key suppliers while analysing performance.
  • Analyse stock/requisition data to optimise purchase orders.
  • Frequently liaise with internal teams to forecast material requirements.

Overview

Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a Construction firm in the Antrim area on the appointment of a Buyer.

In this role you will work closely with the relevant departments to ensure all materials are on site, on time for a range of high value projects.

  • Sourcing and buying materials from a range of suppliers ensuring best price and lead times are agreed to meet demand
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with key suppliers whilst continually analysing & monitoring performance
  • Analyse stock/requisition data to optimise purchase orders.
  • Frequently liaise with the internal teams to forecast material requirements
