A leading university research firm in London is seeking a Business Manager to drive the commercialisation of projects in AI, Robotics, and Computer Science. UCL Business Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of University College London (UCL), has been successfully generating substantive income and impact for UCL and its partner hospitals for 30 years through the commercialisation of novel research. To support an increasing pipeline of opportunities arising from the UCL research base, we are seeking to recruit a high-quality candidate to the role of Business Manager in the Physical Science & Engineering (PS&E) team.
The individual we are seeking will work on the identification, development and commercialisation of a portfolio of projects arising from across the Faculties of Engineering, Mathematics & Physical Science with a focus on AI, Robotics, Computer Science and related disciplines. This role within a leading university research commercialisation company provides a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with the academic staff of a globally rated Top 10 University, investors, industry and other professionals. A competitive salary of £49,000 to £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, the company offers a performance related pay scheme of up to 10% of salary, generous holiday allowance (31 days & 8 Bank holidays), flexible and hybrid working (2 days in the Central London office per week, 3 days WFH), private healthcare as well as a defined contribution pension scheme with up to 16% contribution from us!
