A local government organization in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Children’s BI team. This role involves data analysis and visualization using SQL and Power BI, with responsibilities including data collection and interpretation to improve children's outcomes. Our Business Intelligence Service is responsible for council-wide data collection, analysis, visualisation, and performance reporting. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our service in the Children’s BI team. You will be dealing primarily with children social care data using tools such as SQL, Power BI and excel to analyse that data and provide insight.
We’re looking for someone who is interested in data and information and curious to apply any insights to improve outcomes for our children. You will have strong expertise in using excel and ideally have some knowledge of using SQL and PowerBi. You should also have some awareness of the roles and responsibilities of local authorities.
