The Role

Based in London, the (Senior) Business Development Specialist will play a central role in driving strategic BD initiatives, supporting high-profile practice groups, and enhancing the firm’s profile across key markets. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with real exposure to partners and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing tailored pitches, RFP responses, and marketing materials for business development opportunities
  • Supporting client targeting, relationship mapping, and reporting
  • Coordinating events, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Drafting submissions for leading directories (Chambers, Legal 500)
  • Maintaining accurate deal databases and credentials
  • Building strong relationships with lawyers and BD colleagues globally
About You

We are seeking a proactive and confident BD professional with:

  • 4–5+ years’ experience in business development, ideally in a law firm, professional services, or financial services environment
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong project management abilities and attention to detail
  • The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative, resilient, and client-focused approach
