Business Development & Marketing Advisor – Part Time (Maternity Cover)

A leading specialist commercial real estate law firm is growing their Marketing department and is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Advisor to join their award-winning team based in London. This varied, part-time role will work closely with the Head of BD and Marketing and require you to deliver excellent results, focusing on planning, pitching, events, campaign management, client relationships, content marketing, social media, and directories/awards submissions.

The Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and delivery of BD for multiple practice areas within the firm.
  • Support the development and implementation of structured marketing and business development strategies.
  • Contribute to and execute marketing and business development plans for key practice areas.
  • Collaborate with partners and lawyers to identify growth opportunities and develop new business or cross-selling initiatives.
  • Manage activities within set budgets, timelines, and guidelines.
  • Assist in creating pitches, credentials, and presentation materials.
  • Engage with the CRM system (Pardot and Salesforce), handle reporting, and resolve queries.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral, reports, and publications.
  • Update and monitor the firm’s social media presence and track client and competitor activity.

The Candidate:

  • Experience working within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and CRM databases.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
  • Degree-level education; CIM qualification is advantageous.

Please note: Due to sector-specific requirements, only candidates with relevant work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or a high-profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
