Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Thetford, Norfolk

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 OTE £45,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially astute Business Development Manager to join our client’s Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing deals. From day one, the successful candidate will be empowered to make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of profitable new business opportunities.
  • Promote and sell contracted services across a range of commercial sectors within the designated territory.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and present strategic sales plans, reports, and forecasts.
  • Work closely with Regional Commercial and Depot Managers to align on campaigns and localised strategies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients—establishing trust and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Lead pricing discussions and design bespoke service packages to meet individual client requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrable success in new business sales, preferably within contracted services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Outstanding skills in prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and confident working independently.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
