A leading law firm in Birmingham is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Client & Marketing team. This role focuses on providing strategic advice to the Energy & Infrastructure and Real Estate & Construction sectors. The successful candidate will oversee market strategy, engaging with internal stakeholders and initiating business development efforts. Strong experience in related sectors is preferred, as well as an ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams and sector leads.

Browne Jacobson's Client & Marketing team is in the market for a Business Development Manager to join the firm on a permanent basis. Based out of either Nottingham, Birmingham or Manchester, the Business Development Manager would act as strategic advisor to the Energy & Infrastructure and Real Estate & Construction sectors and relevant stakeholders, engaging with and using our AI platform, Legora, to embed efficiencies and improved ways of working.
They would advise on market strategy, and recommend client care, business development and marketing initiatives, such as campaigns, in line with strategy. Once priorities are agreed, to the extent that it is efficient, the BD Manager is the key point of contact between the C&M team and the lawyers and takes ownership of delivery working with the rest of the C&M team to deliver.
This is intended as a proactive role - with the BDM recommending and agreeing strategy and deliverables with the sector leads and then executing on them successfully, working alongside 2 BDMs and 2 BD Execs, all aligned to the Corporates TMG.
