Business Development Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + 50% OTE Year 1 (Uncapped) + Private Medical + 9% Pension Contribution + Share Scheme

Location: Sunderland

My client is a technology software and services provider delivering an outsourced professional services solution to the global business community.

Owing to sustained growth, and as part of their exciting plans, they are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to increase their client portfolio across a range of sectors.

The Role
  • Delivering new logos across a range of sectors
  • Developing and nurturing your own leads
  • Uncover client’s business challenges and identify relevant business opportunities
  • Managing the sales process end-to-end, including product demonstration and commercial negotiations
  • Providing first class customer-focused approach
  • Attending conferences and networking events as and when required to support the needs of the business
  • Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into sales
  • Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
The Person
  • Exceptional track record of acquiring new business
  • Demonstrable experience of conducting software demos to potential clients
  • Experience of using a consultative, solution-based methodology when engaging with prospective clients
  • Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues
  • Excellent telephone, online and face to face presentation skills
  • Strong desire to be part of a team that delivers our customers breakthrough results
  • Ambitious to develop their career further within the organisation
