A leading waste management company in Sheffield is seeking a talented Business Development Manager to drive sales through in-person canvassing and upselling to existing customers. The right candidate will have proven sales experience and a passion for exceeding targets. Responsibilities include territory management, handling inbound inquiries, and attending networking events. This role offers a dynamic environment with ample development opportunities, set against a backdrop of sustainability and innovation in waste management.
This role is predominantly new business requiring in-person, direct sales and upselling to existing customers, there will be elements of account management following contracts that you sign. After the initial bespoke training program, you will be required to hit quarterly targets based around the annualised revenue from contracts signed.
