A sales consultancy provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business development in a home-based role. The ideal candidate will have a proven B2B sales background, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a commercial mindset. Responsibilities include generating opportunities, conducting client meetings, and building lasting relationships. Competitive salary of £50,000 plus OTE Car Allowance, located in the UK including Birmingham, London, and other major cities.

A well established Sales Training and Consultancy provider, working with clients in over 50 countries, is looking for experienced sales professionals to join the team. The training and services sold are built around an organisation’s specific needs, while experts on the ground ensure that real‑world skills are effectively implemented. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Consultant with a focus on New Business development.

Responsibilities
  • Generate, sell, negotiate, close and secure new business opportunities and achieve monthly revenue targets.
  • Conduct meetings remotely and face to face with clients across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
  • Manage, maintain and develop a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Build firm relationships with prospective clients.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven B2B sales background (ideally within a comparable industry sector – Training / Education, Professional Services or Manufacturing).
  • Good negotiation skills and the ability to command respect amongst senior decision makers.
  • Enthusiasm, drive and great communication skills.
  • Commercially astute and competitive.
  • Confident and proactive personality.
  • Computer literate with the ability to use and master internal systems and MS Office suite.
  • Be able to recognise and demonstrate the benefits of formal sales training.
