Job description
Overview

Business Development Manager – Lookers Leasing, Harrogate (Hybrid). Salary: OTE up to £55,000. Basic £35,000 per annum. Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30–17:30 (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and obtain new customers for Lookers Leasing services within pre-agreed company guidelines.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and prospective clients via direct visits and networking events.
  • Promote Contract Hire and all relating products using professional selling techniques to achieve personal pre-agreed volume and profit targets.
  • Be fully conversant with all products including Finance Leasing, Contract Hire, Contract Purchase, Fleet Management, Maintenance Management and Accident Management.
  • Take sales lead in introducing new products and services to the market and presenting these products to customers and prospects.
  • Assist the Sales Director in developing a Business Development Sales & Marketing Plan and take ownership in delivering the plan.
  • Develop new marketing and promotion initiatives and implement agreed initiatives.
  • Work with a minimum of supervision but with the guidance of the Sales Director in developing and servicing customers and prospective customers.

  • A proven track record of successful business development in a corporate market over a minimum of 2 years.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a dedication to flawless B2B customer service and will be passionate about the motor trade industry. Prior experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential.
