A non-profit care association is looking for a Business Development Manager to develop and maintain partnerships that secure funding for social care in Surrey. The role involves maintaining existing partnerships, securing new sponsorships, and reporting on performance. A successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, communication, and relationship management. Flexible working arrangements are supported.
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Reports to: Chief Executive
Location: Hybrid – Home-based with travel across Surrey as required
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 pro rata
Hours: Part time – 24 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
To generate income for Surrey Care Association (SCA) through the development and stewardship of commercial partnerships and sponsorships. This role is pivotal to SCA’s financial sustainability, enabling us to continue supporting social care providers and the people they care for across Surrey.
The postholder will spend their time equally between maintaining and developing existing commercial partnerships, and identifying and securing new sponsorships, partnerships, and income opportunities. Prospective supporters may include suppliers to the care sector, Surrey-based SMEs, and national or multinational companies with regional presence.

The Surrey Care Association is a not-for-profit trade association that provides independent assistance to the care and support sector, enabling people who access these services to achieve the best possible quality of life.
