Business Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful award-winning marketing agency with an impressive client list and outstanding team ethos

The position is ideally suited to someone with a growth mindset, an experienced business development professional, or someone who has freelanced in marketing, building up their own client base, and who has the confidence to structure marketing proposals and help push the business forward

Your role will involve :
  • Analysing sales and revenue, providing strategies to cut costs and increase future revenue
  • Performing market research to identify new opportunities and helping to build strategies
  • Using LinkedIn effectively to increase leads and opportunities for the business
  • Following up on client leads and performing product demos
  • Establishing new partnerships and revenue streams
  • Exploring market trends and competitors
  • Create Sales proposals for existing and new clients
  • Taking an active role in planning and influencing product development
  • Attending client meetings & trade shows
  • Delivery and support of sales pitches
  • Managing & maintaining sales funnels and tracking in Hubspot, writing reports and analysing
  • Provide vision, training and mentoring to members of internal team
You will be the ideal candidate due to your :
  • Qualification in marketing, business, accounting or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a business development role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate vision and leadership skills
  • Top-notch analytical skills — you must have an eye for detail!
  • Able to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed
  • Ideally an understanding of websites and marketing and experience with Hubspot or similar
  • Experience writing business plans & performance reports
