A prominent real estate firm in London is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for its retail media agency. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing traffic strategies for media platforms, and driving media sales performance. We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our Westfield Rise team, URW’s in-house retail media agency. Westfield Rise (WR) is a one-stop shop for creating innovative campaigns powered by our premium retail media assets and advertising capabilities.
This role sits within the Media & Data vertical, working alongside Brand Experience and Services to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Lead Media Manager in driving forward the WR Media & Data Business Plan across our growing UK portfolio, currently three shopping centres and increasing.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow media and data revenue, with a focus on strategic partnerships and commercial innovation.
Develop strategies to attract new traffic to our media platforms, leveraging insights and analytics to optimise campaign performance and audience engagement.
Drive UK WR Media business performance, ensuring direct media sales (OOH & Digital) meet budget targets.
Drive Rise+ data and drive to store media sales to new and existing portfolio of retailers across UK centres.
Collaborate with media partners to drive Rise+ data sales to DOOH media buyers.
Build and nurture relationships with brands, agencies, and media buyers to expand our client base and drive demand for WR’s data-driven solutions.
Collaborate with Westfield Data and media partners to deliver valuable, data-driven insights for clients.
Provide proactive, end-to-end client service while maintaining WR’s high standards.
Manage DOOH sales, leveraging analytics to maximise campaign effectiveness.
Lead project management across the full pipeline, from pitching to post-campaign reporting.
Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and income tracking via CP Tool.
Ensure legal compliance, contract management, invoicing, and sales reporting are correctly executed.
Maintain industry-best practices and uphold URW’s core values in all communications.
Collaborate with internal teams (Brand Experience, Services, Leasing, and Marketing) to ensure alignment and maximise cross-functional impact.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and positioning.
Contribute to the evolution of WR’s media and data offering, ensuring it remains competitive, relevant, and commercially compelling.
Experience and a proven track record with or within integrated media, sponsorship or partnership agency or media owner – min. 3 years
Excellent sales skills and media market knowledge
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving solving and decision-making capabilities
Proven presentation and negotiation/networking skills
