Focus 5 Recruitment is excited to be supporting a manufacturing company in the packaging industry working with cosmetics and pharmaceutical supply chain companies in their search for a Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and take ownership of driving new B2B sales across the consumer goods sector.

We're looking for a proactive and driven sales professional with a proven track record of closing new business and taking new products to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to increase business growth.
  • Research and identify new markets, trends, customers, and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular contact and networking.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from initial contact and quotation through to first delivery.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve profitable deals.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of customer needs and industry developments.
  • Liaise closely with internal departments including Purchasing, Warehousing, and Accounts.
  • Attend relevant exhibitions and events to represent the business.
  • Prepare forecasts, analyse sales data, and report findings to senior management.
