Business Architect | 2 Roles Available | Defence Client | 4 Month Contract | Up to £800 per day (Outside IR35) | Andover (1-2 days per week on-site) | SC Clearance Required

MERITUS are excited to be working with an innovative Technical Consultancy. We're seeking two experienced Business Architects to join a large-scale, confidential defence transformation project in Andover. These contract positions offer an exciting opportunity to work on time-critical, enterprise-level business modelling within a secure environment.

A strong defence background is essential, with a preference for candidates who have served in or worked closely with the Army, due to the need for familiarity with current systems and operational frameworks.

They require candidates to hold an active SC Clearance.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business process and capability modelling to support transformation objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define, document, and optimise business architecture.
• Develop and maintain Sparx EA models to visualise current and target state architectures.
• Ensure alignment between business processes, systems, and strategy across time-sensitive programmes.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Business Architect within the defence or security sector.
• Proficiency in Sparx Enterprise Architect and strong business process modelling expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across multiple departments.
