Title: Business and Administration Apprentice

Apprentice – Business and Administration

Worcester, with a mix of office and home working

Starting salary year 1: £16,489.20

35 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Learning vital office skills such as planning, organising, filing, processing and managing correspondence
  • Ensuring that all administration relating to volunteers and work experience is carried out in compliance with the relevant policies and procedures
  • Supporting the evaluation of the volunteering programme and work experience placements
  • Managing the online volunteering advertising platforms
  • Ensuring all placements are undertaken in line with legislative requirements and business protocols, promoting safe practices and to ensure the consistent delivery of services
  • Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group’s objectives
Skills and experience
  • A minimum of a 4 / C in both English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent. If you are over 19 years of age and you havent achieved these grades you wont need to sit Functional Skills. But if you are under 19 and dont have a 4 /C or above you will be asked to sit Functional Skills Level 2.
  • You will have a keen interest to learn how an organisation operates, great communication skills and plenty of initiative.
  • Commitment, determination, and enthusiasm.
  • Be a flexible and adaptable team player.
  • Keen to work with both people and data.
  • Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to meet set deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • As a self-motivated individual, we will expect you to work well by yourself as well as in a team environment.
  • Competent in MS packages (including Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Experience of updating electronic information in a variety of formats is desirable.
