Overview

The role The Business Analyst (Business Improvement) is a full-time fixed-term position (7 months, 37.5 hours per week) based in Beeston, Nottingham, with a salary of £43,391 - £45,674.

Role summary We are recruiting a full-time fixed-term Business Analyst to sit within the Corporate Services Directorate in the Strategy, Projects and Performance team. This role supports the delivery of Business Improvement projects across the organisation, working with a wide range of stakeholders from frontline colleagues in Property Services and Customer Services to senior leaders.

The Business Analyst is pivotal in capturing requirements, documenting business processes, forming recommendations and understanding current ways of working. The role brings organisation and ideas to the project team and ensures change management is appropriate for how people work while applying challenge and identifying improvements. You will contribute to a broader community of Business Analysts to promote best practices across MTVH. You will act as a lead for understanding requirements, identifying solutions and leading the implementation of new ways of working. This is an exciting time as we move into the final year of our corporate plan, with a focus on improving customer experience and supporting frontline colleagues.

  • Lead understanding of requirements, identifying solutions and guiding the implementation of new ways of working.
  • Capture requirements, business processes and form recommendations for improvements.
  • Apply change management considerations appropriate for how people work; challenge and promote business improvements.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation and contribute to the project team.
  • Contribute to the broader community of Business Analysts to promote best practices across MTVH.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster good working relationships.
  • Curiosity, openness to new ideas, and proactive leadership of workstreams and individual work packages.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma as an improvement methodology.
  • Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques and the ability to document requirements and processes clearly (desirable).
  • Ability to analyse data and requirements to provide insight and recommendations for change projects (benefit).
  • Experience across functions, with an affinity to social housing experience or related fields.
