A national social justice charity is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to manage property inspections and maintenance across a diverse portfolio in London and Essex. The ideal candidate will have a relevant technical qualification and experience in execution of repairs and oversight of contractors. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and requires a driving licence and travel within the region.
Building Surveyor
Job type – Permanent/Full-time
Salary - £38,896 + £2,500 market supplement and Area Weighting up to £5,000 depending on location.
Hours - 35 hours per week (+ 5 hours paid lunch) 9am-5pm
Location – London
Home based but must be located in Essex or London.
Post to cover – Essex, London and South of England
A full driving licence and access to a car will be required for this role as travel will be required.

We are searching for a Building Surveyor to work across a diverse property portfolio.
To be responsible for the building surveying function for all Nacro’s properties in a designated region of the country and work as part of the national property team which repairs and maintains Nacro’s property portfolio of owned and leased accommodation ensuring that it is maintained to a high standard and complies with the relevant statutory and regulatory standards.
Qualifications Required: A technical qualification, in building studies or a related subject, to a minimum level of HNC/HND or equivalent appropriate experience.
