Building Surveyor

Location: London
Salary: £35,000 to £70,000 per annum

Are you a skilled Building Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity in London? We are looking for either a Graduate or Chartered Building Surveyor. Join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, healthcare, and public sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a building surveyor on diverse projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead commissions for commercial sector schedules of dilapidations, PPMs, condition surveys, and defect analysis reports.
  • Handle party wall matters, including preparing notices, approach letters, and negotiating terms of awards.
  • Prepare specifications and documents for project tenders and assess contractor bids.
  • Serve as contract administrator on various projects, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with senior Building Surveyors to understand client expectations and provide expert advice.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Building Surveying.
  • MRICS Chartered status or a willingness to achieve it.
  • Proficiency in surveys, dilapidations, project management, and repairs.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and NBS.
  • Well-organized, proactive, and commercially astute.
  • Full driving license.
