Job summary

A dynamic consultancy in the City of London is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to lead projects from inception to completion. You will work autonomously and collaboratively with clients, design teams, and stakeholders, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have project delivery experience and good communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified (RICS accredited or equivalent).
  • Ideally Chartered or actively working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing projects of varied size and complexity.
  • Preparing project designs, tender documentation, and acting as Contract Administrator.
  • Advising clients on procurement and delivering technical reports.
  • Leading condition and measured surveys, dilapidations, and party wall matters.
  • Overseeing statutory approvals and managing RIBA Plan of Works stages.
  • Supporting junior colleagues through mentoring and technical guidance.

Overview

As the Senior Building Surveyor, you will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, working autonomously but also collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of construction professionals. You will work closely with clients, design teams, and stakeholders, delivering projects on time and to budget, while maintaining the highest standards of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
