Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Stock Condition Surveyor to conduct surveys across Bristol and Wiltshire. This hybrid position offers a salary of £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience. Ideal candidates will have significant experience with stock condition surveys and knowledge of relevant standards such as RdSAP and HHSRS. Overview

Stock Condition Surveyor — Covering Bristol & Wiltshire | Hybrid working

Full-time | Permanent

£40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed stock condition surveys, RdSAP energy assessments, and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) inspections across the housing portfolio.
  • Use mobile technology to collect and validate property data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the survey management team to interpret data and support strategic investment planning.
  • Play a vital role in ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes for residents.
What We're Looking For / Requirements
  • Proven experience conducting stock condition surveys in both occupied and void properties, including communal areas.
  • Strong knowledge of RdSAP, HHSRS, and the Decent Homes Standard.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems and mobile data capture tools.
  • A track record of delivering excellent customer service in complex environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Experience working to deadlines and achieving targets independently and through team collaboration.
  • A qualification such as HND/HNC in Building Studies or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
