Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• Must be qualified in relevant NVQ or equivalent.
• Experience in planned maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to SFG20 requirements.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly PPM tasks.

Overview

New opportunities have just been created due to planned growth and expansion to recruit talented, experienced and skilled Building Services Engineers to join this stable organisation. Highly respected in their sector, this business has multiple divisions covering commercial and industrial environments. We seek to recruit BOTH Electrical Building Services Engineers and Mechanical Building Services Engineers as part of a new recruitment campaign and growing department. Responsibilities

• Complete a range of Planned Preventive Maintenance tasks and inspections and complete daily, weekly, monthly and 6 monthly PPM tasks adhering to SFG20 requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Skilled M&E / Building Services Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical biased or multi-disciplined). Qualified in NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing / HVAC or equivalent, with experience in BMS Controls and HVAC systems, UPS, standby power, lifts, boilers, and HVAC systems.
• 3rd Level NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with excellent fault finding skills.
• Experience with electrical systems, switchgear and earthing systems (LV & HV).
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• 2391/2394/2395 Testing & Inspection qualification is desirable but not essential for qualifying for the role.

Role Details

• This is a mobile / field based role and will have added earnings with overtime and an on call rota.
• Based in the East Midlands; the position offers real variety and exposure to interesting environments.
