What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead sustainability and energy strategy input on a variety of projects
  • Write and present Energy & Sustainability Statements for planning submissions
  • Oversee BREEAM assessments, energy modelling, and compliance reporting
  • Advise clients and design teams on low/zero carbon technologies and retrofit solutions
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes and guide the team and clients accordingly
  • Mentor junior consultants and promote best practice
  • Contribute to shaping the team’s technical approach and strategy
About You
  • 6+ years’ experience in sustainability within the built environment
  • Strong knowledge of energy modelling, planning policy, and assessment tools (SAP/SBEM, TM54, BREEAM, etc.)
  • Degree‑qualified in engineering, sustainability, or building physics
  • Excellent communicator, curious, proactive, and passionate about real sustainability
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE, IEMA, IES, etc.) preferred
Why Join?
  • Flexible hybrid working – choose what works best for you
  • Work on meaningful sustainability‑first projects: retrofit, mixed‑use, education, commercial
  • Clear career progression and technical development opportunities
  • Join a small, collaborative team that values creativity, independence, and impact
  • Genuine input into sustainability strategy, tools, and team direction
  • Benefits including cycle‑to‑work scheme, gym membership, private medical, pension, bonus, and more
