Job description

Salary:£39,862 to £51,356 per year. This is a career graded post and progression through the grades is dependent on criteria as outlined in the Job Profile.

Market Premia:£3000 per annum which is expected to end on 31 March 2028.

ECU:ECU payment up to £ £1003.44 per annum based on 1 FTE. Membership of the ECU is subject to annual review.

Terms:Full time, 37 hour per week, permanent. 2 positions available.

You will need a full UK driving licence as you will be traveling throughout the Borough and may be using your own transport.

About You - What We’re Looking For:
  • A confident, experienced professional with 5+ years in building control plan checking and site inspections
  • Registered at Class 2A–F with the Building Safety Regulator
  • A chartered member of a relevant professional body (e.g. CABE, CIOB)
  • Technically strong with a solid grasp of current legislation
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a collaborative team player
