BSL & Communication Support Worker – Specialist Autism Setting

Pay: £89 to £110 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time

This role is perfect for someone who loves supporting communication and understands that every young person has their own way of connecting with the world.

You’ll use BSL, visuals, gestures and sensory strategies to help autistic pupils access learning and feel understood.

Your day may include:

  • Supporting pupils with BSL, Makaton or symbol-based communication
  • Helping with sensory breaks and emotional regulation
  • Working with speech and language therapy input
  • Providing consistent, compassionate support

You’ll be great if you:

  • Use BSL confidently
  • Have experience in SEND, care or communication support
  • Bring patience, kindness and curiosity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
