If so, then we'd love to hear from you in connection with this hybrid opportunity that involves a blended home/office working arrangement.

This role will involve assisting the marketing, negotiation and placement of US Casualty Construction business within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the Marketing Strategy.

What the day will look like
  • Assist in providing advice to clients and network colleagues on placement design, available capacity, likely pricing, and coverage
  • Working with colleagues and clients on sophisticated, large capacity placements
  • Assist in defining marketing strategy
  • Assist in Lead quote broking / Follow market broking within Lloyd’s and European market
  • Assist in presenting quoted terms to client / network
  • Firm Order broking (PPL / wet stamps / email)
  • Review draft / final MRC for binding
  • Sending Cover confirmation to Client / Network
  • Co-ordination and monitoring of premium payments to the markets
  • Assist in hosting Client meetings with Underwriters
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients

  • Experience in broking Construction Liability business, either in the US, UK or International marketplace.
  • Technical Insurance knowledge across Casualty / Construction
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of placement of MRC contracts on the PPL platform
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
