Overview

Fancy an adventure… you could be our Broadcast Technician in the idyllic island of Cyprus.

You don’t have to be Lara Croft or Indiana Jones, but you do need their sense of adventure and some technical skills.

BFBS Technology are looking for someone to join our small team on the idyllic holiday island of Cyprus who is able to undertake a wide range of broadcast support tasks. If you have the interest and ability to support the full broadcast equipment chain from the microphone to the transmitter, then this could be the ideal role for you.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have knowledge of broadcast systems and be prepared to learn about the others. We don’t expect anybody to know everything we need on day one, but they need to have the right attitude and a desire to learn.

You’ll be a highly organised person, methodical in performing your duties, with an ability to effectively manage your time, potentially with multiple conflicting requirements. You’ll take pride in your attention to detail and will develop a highly detailed level of understanding for the systems you are supporting.

You’ll be living and working alongside the military, so you’ll need a positive and flexible approach to life and to work. The living and working environment can be challenging but always rewarding.
