Salary: £32,944 - £37,006. Incremental progression throughout the band is available.

Contract Type: Permanent | Hours per Week: 36 | Location: Frontier House, Salford Quays, M50 3SR

About the Role

Salford city college group is a leading provider of vocational training and apprenticeships, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of talent in the construction industry. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bricklaying, combined with a passion for training and mentoring apprentices. As a Trainer/Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training to individuals and groups, assessing apprentices' progress, and providing them with the guidance and support needed to achieve their apprenticeship. In addition to this, you will develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the needs of each apprentice and provide constructive feedback and support to enable them to achieve their learning aims and aspirations in a timely manner.

You will work closely with employers to ensure that the training provided meets both industry standards and the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as relevant industry experience, will also hold or be willing to work towards an approved training or assessing qualification. Experience of working with apprentices is desirable though consideration will be given to applicants who wish to move from industry to education.
