Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience ideal for morning cook role.
• Experience in catering within a customer-focused environment.
• Strong work ethic, high personal work standards, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of relevant food safety legislation and dietary requirements.
• Level 2 food hygiene qualification ideal but not essential; full training provided.
• Flexibility to cover annual leave for afternoon/night shifts.
• Immediate start required.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash, using a till and card machine.
• Prepare salads and sandwiches.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and wash up.
• Serve breakfast and drinks to customers.
• Accept and put away deliveries.
• Follow food hygiene standards and maintain records.
• Adhere to food safety regulations.
• Deep clean kitchen areas as needed.
• Store food items properly and rotate stock.
• Prepare and cook full English breakfast for customers.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Understand dietary requirements and relevant legislation.
• Provide coverage for day shifts and be flexible.
