Salary Range £54,106.00 to £81,159.00 annually + bonus eligibility (8% of Annual Salary) + benefits (See below) The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities

We aren’t looking for candidates. We are looking for a marketing rebel, who has a unique combination of strong creative thinking and a commercial mindset, with a restless drive to grow brand awareness. We want someone who not only LOVES tacos but has a real passion for marketing and delivering winning results. We are seeking the right person, a broad leader with a growth mindset to pave the future for YUM!.

You will report directly to our CMO of UK & Europe who will be there to champion and coach you to success. At YUM! HQ, we are a tight band of cultural rebels here to make an impact, we operate a fairly flat structure and you will have visibility and access to everyone from our General Manager all the way through to our global YUM! International Leaders who will be on hand to support and champion your work and career growth. We also need people who are comfortable working in a more entrepreneurial “start-up” environment. This will require you to think strategically and commercially at times but also be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the execution phase for key projects.

Through listening, learning, focusing on the right things and rapid prototyping, you will lead the team to get to market quickly with new ideas. You will validate and evolve programs, scaling what works across the system. Thinking like a start-up with the leadership of a winning brand is an extremely powerful advantage, and you will be part of a lean, innovative group that is shaking up the industry.

The Brand Manager will shape and grow YUM!’s brand and commercial success in Germany. This role is responsible for working and developing the marketing calendar to deliver culturally resonant creative work and will work closely with the EU Marketing Team to support franchisees with market activation.

You will be the German consumer voice within the Europe Marketing organisation and will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, high-impact brand execution.

The Day-to-Day:

Be the strategic and commercial business owner to deliver a marketing strategy that super-charges our retail footfall to our restaurants and grows our brand perception:

You will lead key national campaigns from defining phase to execution to create big ideas that will scale the fame of the brand over time

You will have the opportunity to work on below and above-the-line campaigns, managing creative agency partners and influencing stakeholders. From TV to POS, we’re looking for someone who wants accountability and can manage the full marketing mix.

Calendar & Creative Development
  • Develop the annual brand calendar with support from the EU Marketing Team, locally relevant creative execution across all channels for the German market.
  • Manage creative, media and digital agencies to deliver high-quality, culturally relevant work.
  • Leverage and adopt global/regional campaigns when appropriate
  • Create and manage the annual marketing budget
Consumer Insight & Market Relevance
  • Bring deep understanding of German culture and consumer behaviour to shape brand strategy.
  • Identify and champion market opportunities across product, messaging and activation.
Franchise Marketing & Activation
  • Support franchisees with local store marketing, new store openings and activation planning.
  • Develop marketing toolkits, guidance and assets to enable strong local execution.
Digital, Social & Omnichannel
  • Elevate YUM!’s digital presence in collaboration with digital and social teams.
  • Ensure seamless brand experience across touchpoints, including delivery and in-store.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Operations, Development, Supply Chain and Technology to ensure integrated market delivery.
  • Participate in cross-functional squads for campaign and product execution.
