Our client is one of the market leading insurance intermediaries operating within the UK today, with a vast number of regional offices delivering exceptional service and product offerings tailored to suit each client from SME’s to large corporate portfolio’s.

Your role as Branch Manager would involve being responsible for formulating and directing the successful delivery of Advisory sales, customer service, and business performance across the various commercial insurance divisions.

Ideally you will have experience in P&L management, although they may consider someone wishing to make the next step up. In addition, you must also be able to understand and implement strategy, demonstrate ability to think tactically, an excellent communicator.

Key performance indicators for the role include: development and delivery of business budgets, delivery of the overall annual budget. Delivery of income targets for: new business and retention; and delivery of cost efficiency targets.

Principle Objectives & Responsibilities include:-

  • Execute the sales strategy and agenda for the area businesses
  • Support and enable the delivery of the company’s programme including enabling and role modelling the required sales culture within the Area
  • Support and enable the successful migration of business and customers through the Project

People

  • Lead, manage and develop the Area management team.
  • Ensure that team is motivated to deliver a high performance
  • Ensure a focus on talent development and succession is maintained.
  • Develop and deliver a strategy and action plan for improving and maintaining high employee engagement within the businesses.
  • Utilising the Group processes embed and deliver a continued focus upon performance management ensuring a high performance culture.
