Job description

We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Southport, Lancashire.

Our client has reduced mobility with pain & shortness of breath, dysphasia, loss of hearing, as well as other psychological and cognitive symptoms. Due to this, there is a reduced functional capacity with activities and daily living.

The successful applicant will need to have experience in brain injury support. Due to the responsibilities surrounding the care, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full UK driver’s license and access to their own vehicle.

Pay Rate: £16.22 per hour

Working Hours:

Monday (either 5pm – 8pm or 6pm – 9pm)

Alternate Saturdays 10am – 4pm

Flexibility to pick up other shifts as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with personalized routines.
  • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members for comprehensive care.

Training & Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to starting work with our client. Support will be provided by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
