A reputable tutoring agency in the UK is looking for tutors specializing in English and Maths for year 11 students working below age expectations. Tutors can work flexibly in various settings, such as schools and students' homes, and do not necessarily need teaching qualifications. Ideal candidates will have prior educational experience and strong communication skills. The role offers competitive pay rates of GBP20 - GBP30 per hour, with a minimum commitment of 6 hours per week.
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for tutors in Bradford! At Prospero, we work with local authorities to arrange 1:1 tuition for students accessing alternative provision.
The vast majority of our tuition referrals are for English and Maths. A lot of our students are working below expected age range, and the delivery of learning will be at a KS1 - KS3 level.

Location: BD13, within the students home.
Start Date: ASAP.
End Date: Ongoing
Hours: 6 hours per week
Pay: GBP20 - GBP30 per hour.
The Role: English and Maths (Functional Skills) tuition for a year 11 student working below ARE. Expected delivery of knowledge: KS2 - KS3. Experience with SEN experience is desired.
Our tuitions can be held in a number of places:
At all of the above locations, there will always be an appropriate adult present for your tuition sessions. This will be the students parent, carer, or guardian, meaning you'll never be left alone with a student.
Our tuitions take place within school hours, 9am-4pm, and our clients are very flexible on timings. When a role becomes available, we’ll come to you as the tutor to set timings for when you'd like to take on the hours.
With our tuition roles, you do not need to be a qualified teacher. We usually ask that you have some form of higher education.
We’d also expect candidates to have some prior experience within education; at least 4 months working in a school or educational setting. This could be as a teacher, teaching assistant, or in a pastoral or support role.
