You will maintain and repair waterfront equipment and work in stunning Mediterranean resorts, ensuring high standards are upheld. Ideal candidates will have a passion for water sports, possess basic maintenance skills, and hold qualifications such as an RYA Dinghy or Windsurf Instructor. Qualifications

  • Basic skills in metalwork, woodwork, and painting are needed.
  • Fibre glassing skills are preferable to repair equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist waterfront management in maintaining the fleet.
  • Keep maintenance area tidy and store tools safely.
  • Repair boats and boards using fibre glass or metalwork.

Bosun - S26 - Accommodation Available - Opportunities in Greece & Turkey

Reports to : Waterfront Manager

Would you like the opportunity to combine your love for water sports and skills in maintenance with travelling? Mark Warner invites you to join our team as a Bosun in one of our stunning Mediterranean resorts.

As a Bosun, you'll be responsible for maintaining equipment on the waterfront, as well as taking on additional responsibilities across the waterfront and resort. You will help on the beach, keeping on top of all repairs across our waterfront kit. With use of all water sport equipment, and have ample time to hit the water you can work abroad all whilst developing your skills.

Requirements
  • Background knowledge of water sports equipment
  • Basic skills in metalwork, woodwork and painting

  • RYA Dinghy Instructor or Windsurf Instructor qualification (desired)
  • Qualification in boat building (desired)
  • Powerboat Level 2 (desired)
Responsibilities
  • Assisting waterfront management team in keeping the fleet maintained
  • Keeping maintenance area tidy and making sure tools and hazardous materials are all stored safelyRepairing boats and boards using fibre glass or metalwork where required
  • Woodwork construction
  • Sourcing materials locally
  • Organising the repair of broken sailsAssisting the beach team on the beach
  • Ensure Mark Warner and RYA standards are being upheld
  • Extra duties around resort where needed
