Overview

Artemis Human Capital is looking for an experienced bookkeeper on behalf of their client- an established & reputable accounting firm based in Belfast. This is a newly created role to support firm-wide growth plans after continued success. The Job

Working closely with the accounting team, you will be involved across the following areas:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll.
  • Month end journals- including accruals & pre-payments.
  • Assisting with the accounts payable & accounts receivable functions.
  • Bank reconciliations.
The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following criteria:

  • Strong experience within a bookkeeping or accounting technician role.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience within an accountancy practice or professional services setting is essential.
  • A relevant qualification would be desirable but not essential (IATI etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
