Job description
Overview

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill a part-time permanent Support Worker position in the Blood Sciences Department at Withybush General Hospital. The successful candidate will be required to work 4.5 hours on Thursday and Friday. The post may require participation in the provision of the 7 day service to include Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday hours with appropriate pay enhancements. The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of duties appropriate to the job role, primarily involving specimen reception duties and collection of blood samples by venepuncture for analysis from the wards and clinics. The post will be split between reception duties and some phlebotomy.
