Hi
We are Bïrch. Our product is a mighty toolbox for all the things growth marketing teams do — ad campaigns, creative reporting, and automated rules, all in one place. We've been in the game for over 8 years, trusted by 600+ companies and more than 5,500 marketers. With billions in ad spend running through our platform, we're not just keeping up, we're one of Meta's fastest-growing partners and officially backed by both Meta and Google. Recently, we rebranded from Revealbot to Bïrch, and we wrote about this transformation journey here.

So, why are we hiring? The blog has always been a good source of organic traffic for us. Now, in addition to practical how-to guides, we want to explore marketing further and introduce a new direction for our content — by conducting interviews with experienced marketers, exploring their creative strategies, and coming up with topics that go beyond precise SEO intents. We want to provide media buyers and performance marketers thought‑provoking insights and stories.

Who are we?
We're a remote-first team of ˜35 spread around the world with an HQ in Barcelona. We've built one successful product and now transitioning to a broader vision. We hire globally and love meeting offline: last two years we were in Barcelona, the year before in Istanbul. Here's our team's Instagram that can show you more of who we are. We are a spicy mix of different cultures and backgrounds.

Requirements
Who are you?

  • Your English is excellent — ideally native or close to it
  • You're a strong writer. Your writing explores an interesting angle, gets to the point, says what it means, and respects the reader's time
  • You've been in the trenches of company blogging — juggling SEO, business needs, and team input while still making sure the reader gets something meaningful
  • You're someone who gets things done. You manage your time well, hit your deadlines, and don't need someone looking over your shoulder
  • You're curious about advertising and marketing— and are willing to explore it further by writing about it.

What will you do?

You'll be part of the blog team, working alongside the producer, comms designers, content manager, and SEO specialist — shaping ideas, planning, and producing content together. You'll know you're on track when you're consistently publishing the planned number of articles, and creating content that feels engaging and relevant — both to us and our audience.

Your main focuses:

  • Come up with article topics ideas that fit our vision and content strategy
  • Write clear, engaging articles that follow our style guide and sound like Bïrch
  • Be part of our blog crew — sharing ideas and planning content together with the producer, content manager, SEO specialist, and comms designers
  • Do whatever research helps you get to the heart of a topic — from interviewing marketers to scrolling Reddit threads, digging into trends, or finding your own ways to uncover insights

???? What kind of writing do we look for?

For us, great writing means more than just perfect grammar and style. It\'s about delivering a clear and memorable message, exploring the topic with real curiosity and depth, and crafting a voice that feels human and engaging. We value articles that draw you in and hold your attention — pieces that feel alive, not mechanical or flat. For a sense of what we admire, take a look at The Browser Company on Substack or Lenny's newsletter.

Benefits
What do we offer?

  • An ambitious creative challenge. We\'re building more than "just a blog" — it's a media platform for marketers with personality and a bold point of view. It\'s your chance to create something meaningful and big for the industry
  • Trust and Autonomy. We trust you know how to do your work right; that\'s why no one will tell you how to do your work properly; you will have ownership over your workday, choosing approaches and making decisions
  • We\'re more than colleagues — we\'re friends. Our culture is special. We genuinely like each other as people, create meaningful work, and enjoy spending time together

Before you apply:

Let's be honest — working with us isn't all fun and pink unicorns (though it is a big part). Here are some potential challenges you'll face:

  • You'll need to be open to experiments. We're looking for someone who enjoys exploring different directions and helping us figure out what feels right. Sometimes we won't know exactly what we're looking for from the start — and our feedback might sound like "hmm, not quite." That's why your curiosity and willingness to work through ideas together will be so valuable
  • You'll need to be comfortable joining calls. This isn't the kind of freelance role where you just send files and disappear. We're looking for someone ready to collaborate closely with the team, share ideas in real time, and be part of the creative back-and-forth

If all of that is not an issue for you, we would be happy to receive your application
