A healthcare organization is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to manage medical equipment readiness and ensure compliance with specifications. The position requires an AS degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience. The Biomedical Engineering Technician I (BMET I) maintains medical equipment readiness and ensures conformance with manufacturer specifications by performing scheduled maintenance, repairs, end‑user support, and installations. BMET technicians support compliance with the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP) to improve patient safety.
Minimum rate of $34.65 per hour. Compensation may vary based on market data, experience, education and certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, budget and grant funding. Some positions may also be eligible for performance‑based incentives, bonuses, commissions, or shift differentials.
In addition to our compensation for full‑time and part‑time (20+ hours/week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement and retirement benefits.
