Biology teacher required for a high-achieving all-girls school in Central London. The school is looking for a Biology teacher who can teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The post will be offered on a full-time basis to start in January. The school boasts high academic standards and exceptional results. School Information

This is an outstanding all-girls school based in the heart of London. The school has an academic history of excellence, with state-of-the-art facilities. It is an over-subscribed school with a brilliant reputation within the local community. The school was judged to be ‘outstanding’ by OfSTED in October 2022. The ethos emphasises continual self-improvement, which characterises every aspect of the school’s work.

The latest OfSTED report (October 2022) judges the school to be outstanding in all areas. GCSE and BTEC results in 2024 remained high and exceeded the summer 2023 Teacher Assessed Grades. GCSE pass grades 9-4 were 96.9% in 2024 (national average ~73%), and GCSE grades 9-7 were 62% (national ~26%). The school has a disproportionately large number of sixth form students going to Oxbridge and has received awards for being in the top 10% of non-selective schools nationally for KS5.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from Biology teachers at any stage in their career, including NQTs. Both British-trained Biology teachers and overseas Biology teachers will be considered.
