Overview

We are seeking a talented Bid Writer with a background in the construction industry to join our client’s growing team. You will play a critical role in producing high-quality written content for pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), invitation to tenders (ITTs), and other proposal documentation. Your expertise will help shape compelling narratives that clearly communicate each client’s strengths and alignment with the buyer’s needs. This role will be remote to start with, with the look to getting an office based in the London Bridge area for hybrid working.

Responsibilities
  • Write and coordinate responses to PQQs, ITTs, and other bid-related documents.
  • Work closely with clients, bid managers, and subject matter experts to extract and develop key content.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and persuasive responses.
  • Maintain a high win-rate by producing accurate, tailored, and impactful bids.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of bid processes, templates, and knowledge libraries.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of public and private sector procurement processes.
  • Exceptional written English, with a sharp eye for detail and structure.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of frameworks and high-scoring qualitative responses is highly desirable.
