Overview

Job Title: Bid Writer / Bid Coordinator

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (Hybrid options available)

Responsibilities
  • Bid Writing and Content Development: Draft persuasive, technically accurate responses for public and private sector tenders
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to extract project insights and value propositions
  • Tailor content to meet specific client and framework requirements
  • Bid Coordination and Submission Management: Track tender portals, deadlines and submission schedules
  • Organise bid documentation, templates and compliance checklists
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather required inputs and certifications
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of all bids
  • Library and Process Management: Maintain a central repository of case studies, CVs and boilerplate content
  • Support continuous improvement of bid processes and templates
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in bid writing or coordination within construction, renewables or technical services
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to simplify complex information
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven and detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as PAS 2035, MCS or similar (desirable)
  • Proficient in MS Office and document formatting tools
