Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer to join a growing, forward thinking main contractor, based in Rochester, Kent. This is an ideal role for somebody with Bid Writing experience within a Main Contractor Environment. Please note applicant must be based in Kent office 5 days a week (7am - 4pm).

For this role, you will work closely alongside Estimators, Project Managers and senior leaders to develop persuasive, compliant and well structured bids that reflect the company's strengths and values - reporting to the head of pre construction.

Key responsibilities
  • Write and coordinate winning tenders, PQQs and framework submissions.
  • Liaise with technical teams to extract information and craft clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Develop standard bid content and maintain a library of case studies and responses.
  • Support presentations and interview materials to enhance bid success.
  • Ensure all submissions are aligned with client requirements and brand standards.
