As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with young learners who display behaviour that falls outside the expected boundaries within the school. You will implement specific strategies, provide emotional support, and promote positive habits that help improve pupils’ well-being and social interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with young learners displaying challenging behaviour.
  • Implement specific strategies to support emotional well-being and positive social interactions.
  • Provide emotional support and act as a positive role model for pupils.
  • Collaborate with professionals such as SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists.
